Cure those post conference blues …

Phil Newton

The Excellence in Learning and Teaching Conference on the 2nd July was the best we’ve ever had !

We had excellent sessions from Swansea staff (including a very good keynote from Phil Newton) and our external speaker, Professor Sue Law (Leicester) delivered a highly intriguing and engaging keynote.

The conference website has now been updated with links to the videos recorded of the sessions and you can get hold of many of the presentations from the day too.

So whether you want to just get a little bit more, or maybe you weren’t able to attend and want to see what it was all about, click the link below to visit the site.

Are you enthusiastic ?

Enthusiastic teacher

Following on from our Teaching Awards this year and fitting in with the July Make One Change topic, we are holding a Panel discussion on the 23rd July to consider being an enthusiastic teacher, staffed by our award winners from this year.

They’ll each be giving us their own perspective on enthusiastic teaching (they were all highlighted in the student nominations as enthusiastic) and then there will be a discussion around the topic, led by Professor Jane Thomas and directed by questions from the audience.
