We’ve all experienced at some point whilst browsing the internet a website from hell. They usually have some glaringly obvious problem which the web designer somehow managed to overlook. Sometimes it’s a poorly selected colour pallet, a huge amount of information/text overload or a frustrating navigation menu. Some of these issues are encountered by students when they access Blackboard module sites.
My SALT session today followed on from Matthews last week, where I put across some hints and tips that staff can use to, hopefully, improve navigation, aesthetics, accessibility and enhance the student user experience.
