Podcasting and visual poetry

We have been trying out some ideas for some podcasting episodes to support modules in Greek archaeology. These have been recorded in the field. But what about recording a podcast in front of the computer?

I have been trying out some ideas with my poetry. ‘Gloucestershire in the Negev’ is now available on YouTube; see the commentary (and video) on Caroline at Coastcard: Landscape & Literature. (The recording is also available in various formats for iPod and the iPhone.)

The recording was made on a MacBook using the inbuilt recorder via QuickTime Player. The voice over and images were combined using iMovie. This allows output as an m4v file (for podcasting or YouTube) or 3gp (for iPhone).
