Session title: Hospital Life Support and Automated External Defibrillators (SHN3055)

Session outline:
Practical session in the Clinical Skills Suite, based around the Resuscitation Council guidelines for in-hospital cardiac arrest. Using the patient simulation equipment and both training and live defibrillators (live ones requiring careful management in the room full of students). Run around scenarios, this is an example of skill rehearsal in an active, practical session. Lots of student led discussion around the ethical issues surrounding resuscitation.
