MSP100R – Public Relations: Strategic Communications
Number of Students: 65
Day, Time and Location: Monday, 12:00 – 14:00, Glyndwr 123/124
This year, Sian is offering the majority of the taught sessions of her MSP100R module, Public Relations: Strategic Communications, as she feels they all fairly well illustrate her approach.
The aim with the class is to use a technique for managing large classes, whilst still including interactive and small group work. As a result, the session essentially runs as small class teaching within a large class setting and utilises multiple instances of small group breakout work, discussion and questioning to facilitate this.
Although predominantly a first year module, students of other years do also attend (and on occasion teachers !), and there is a broad mix of home and international students.
(even though Sian isn’t just offering specific sessions and has opened up pretty much the whole of her module, we’d all like to know which ones people go to, so could you still let me know using the links below – and I’ll pass that on to Sian)
