World's cheapest tablet. Shall we buy some?

I missed this when it was launched last year but could a sub £50 tablet be as significant as the makers claim? Designed in the UK but commissioned by the Indian government for Indian university students the Aakash is a 7″ tablet running Google Android. It’s pretty low spec compared with other devices but it is very cheap – at least 50% cheaper than the cheapest smartphone. The Aakash, only available for Indian universities, has now completely sold out but the companies higher spec UbiSlate 7+ is dues for release in January 2012. The UbiSlate 7+ will be available to anyone.  How would all students having one of these change things here at Swansea?
