I attended the History, Science and Heritage conference at the National Waterfront Museum today. The afternoon was sponsored by the Institute of Welsh Affairs and History Research Wales.
Among the papers were:
- John Tucker, A national history of science
- Susan Fielding, Animating historical sites
- Andy Grierson, In search of Bronze Age copper mines: genetic analysis of the people of north Wales
- Rheinallt Ffoster-Jones, The People’s Collection – Wales online history
I was struck by the mobile technology applications delivered to iPhones as well as the animations undertaken by the Royal Commission on Ancient and Historical Monuments.
