Throughout this week, SALT is offering a variety of ways to learn more about Technology Enhanced Learning and its innovative use for learning and teaching.
Swansea University staff from all disciplines are invited to engage in any of the following CPD opportunities, to help develop knowledge and skills:
This is an online bulletin board that can be used to display information on any topic. Our Tel Padlet displays TEL Tool suggestions aligned to the “Six Types of Learning” identified by Diana Laurillard (2002), which are used as a framework for the Arena, Blended, Connected (ABC) approach to learning design (see Padlet below).
Padlets are interactive, so we welcome questions and comments that we can then respond to.

TEL Talks will take place Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, using Blackboard Collaborate, an online synchronous communication and webinar tool.
Morning Taster Sessions – 10:00-10:45
Experience the ‘basics’ of an online discussion in a live online learning environment, in an informal, friendly, introductory session with SALT Academic Developers.
Afternoon TEL TALKS
Discuss the pedagogical benefits of TEL tools for learning and teaching on various themes, at the same time as developing your understanding of online discussions, webinar participation and virtual classrooms. Facilitated by SALT Academic Developers.
