This course will provide an overview of Canvas Studio. This is a communication tool that allows instructors and students to actively collaborate through video and audio media. Studio’s interface lets students and instructors engage with media content by commenting directly on the media timeline. Students can learn from each other’s insights as well as from the instructor’s direction and feedback.
Firmly rooted in relevant pedagogy, this course will teach you how to use the facilities and tools in Canvas Studio to upload, create, and curate content. This content can then be embedded in your Canvas courses or shared externally via the web. This course has been devised for academic staff to identify the potential use of video and feedback for staff and students using Canvas Studio, and to enrich and diversify the learning activities included in your Canvas course.
