HEA- SAR Assessment Panel Dates 2017-2018
The SAR Assessment Panels will convene to consider applications on the following dates:

Applications are welcome from both campuses for all Panels.
If you believe you are not going to meet your chosen submission deadline, please contact SALT. Transfers to a future submission deadline are subject to available spaces and require completion of an extension request form.
Applications must be submitted electronically using the Pebble+® platform.
Applications by presentation must also be submitted by the above submission deadlines. Arrangements will then be made with the applicant and assessors for a presentation time prior to the SAR panel meeting.
Recommendations made at the SAR Panel require ratification by the overarching Inspiring Teaching at Swansea Panel (IT@S) which meets to ensure parity between the SAR route and Fellowship recommendations made for those following the certificated routes. the IT@S Panel usually meets a few weeks after the SAR panel.
How long is the application review process?
You should receive a decision within 12 weeks. This takes into account the time for assessment, moderation and external review by the IT@S Panel. See the application review process diagram.
