As part of the School of Management’s learning and teaching research seminar series, Professor Phil Newton (Director of Learning & Teaching, School of Medicine) has kindly offered to hold a research seminar titled ‘Student use of ghost-writers for ‘contract cheating’’. At present, we are experiencing a rise in academic misconduct cases and this seminar aims to address some of the issues surrounding ‘contract cheating’, and give an opportunity to discuss them. The seminar will also continue the School’s commitment to developing pedagogic research and offer staff the opportunity to learn from one of the University’s most experienced pedagogic researchers.
